Taryn Arthur (Reviewer) - Taryn
finds it ironic that as the only female currently on the list of reviewers, she
is the one writing about war movies--but she was never a big fan of stereotypes
anyway. She studies Government
and International
Security at Harvard. Her hobbies include worshipping all things Russian
and giving Ben a hard time about his love life.
Mike Dean (Reviewer) - Mike is enrolled at Emerson College in Boston, where he's majoring in film with a minor in writing. He has studied screenwriting extensively and hopes some day to be a screenwriter or Hollywood script doctor. Ben Delbanco (Reviewer) - Ben is a senior American History concentrator and pre-med at Harvard University. In a sort of guilty response to his New York prep school roots, he is writing his thesis on the changing social role of public education in New York City from 1954-1973. He would like to thank thank the following people for supporting him in his times of need: the un-pre-verted Coca-Cola company, the man who invented chocolate, and the New York Yankees. Kyle Gilman (Web Design / Reviewer) - Kyle is currently attending Harvard University where he is "concentrating" in Visual and Environmental Studies. He spends his time making movies and doing graphic/web design. His film Camera Noise recently won Best Comedy at the Ivy Film Festival. Alex Healy (Chief Systems Engineer) - Alex is a Mathematics and Computer Science major at Harvard University. In his spare time, he enjoys juggling, playing piano, and building database-driven websites. Greg Hudson (Reviewer) - Greg Hudson can roll himself into a ball and knock down his opponents like so many jumbled similes. He can walk and talk like any normal human, and yet he lacks any discernible soul. His achievements include downsizing corporate America, Martin Short, and the black plague. He also goes to Harvard, where he reads Nietzsche and Dostoevsky and smiles knowingly. Jon Kern (Reviewer) - Jon Kern attends the University of Chicago, and looks although he never leaps. A New Yorker by existential fact, he is tired without needing to work. Unfortunately for JiminyCritic.com, he still writes reviews and the column Unreeled. If you think Jon is an ass, then Jon is an ass. Just don't say so in front of his mom Andre Mora (Reviewer) - Last summer Andre helped launch the internet's movie gossip database -- Movies.com -- working for the site for its first four months. He's that artsy guy who falls in love with those ambigious and pretentious films. But he also happens to be the biggest sap for romance; as he claims, to the death, that no one, I mean no one, loves Shakespeare in Love more than him. |
